Event Theatre
"We Are Theatre" are my first choice for providing expertise on all my events. Their hard work, dedication to key objectives and attention to detail make them an indispensable asset. I would highly recommend their services to any professional organisation needing event management.

Event theatre is not only a strength of ours, it's a passion. We love creating theatre in unusual places and we have undertaken a wide range of productions including open air venues for over 11 years in and around Yorkshire. Below we re-count some of our more recent projects.
In 2023 we created a paranormal investigation experience at Stumps Cross Caverns in Harrogate as part of a Halloween event, which involved an hours immersive experience including underground in the caves.
We worked with Beningbrough Hall, part of the National Trust and undertook two themed evening events - "An evening with Alice and friend", a spin off from our recent musical of 'Alice in Wonderland'. As well as a short promenade performance to enjoy the gardens and meet various characters, there was the chance to play croquet on the South lawn with the Queen and have tea with the Mad Hatter.
We completed work with Sunderland Council at Roker Park, producing fairies and pirate performances, interactive Halloween events and also storytelling. This was all part of the council turning on the Illuminations again. The opening event saw us performing to 12,000 local residents down on the sea front and it was humbling to be part of this event.
We created two pieces of event theatre working at Lightwater Valley Theme Park on 'Swashbuckling September', which saw us involved in writing and performing a children's interactive pirate show, pirate workshops, storytelling and general interaction and also 'Frightwater Valley' a 5 day themed event. We've received fantastic reviews for this and the event is going from strength to strength.
During the 2011 halloween season we undertook two large events. Firstly a 9 day project at 'The Farmers Cart' in Towthorpe, York, and secondly a fantastic weekend 'Frightwater Valley' at Lightwater Valley Theme Park.
An Autumn production of Shakepspeare's 'Macbeth' saw us bringing theatre and the environment together as we undertook a promenade performance around St Nicholas Fields and the Environment Centre in York. We undertook a similar project back in 2010 in York Minster as part of a National Live Arts Event. In the December we undertook a street theatre version of 'A Christmas Carol' as part of a Dickensian Festival at Lightwater Valley Shopping Village which received excellent reviews.
One of our aims is to make theatre accessible to all and to engage people to look at venues in different ways while bringing groups of people together to have fun.
